SPORT INITIATIVE “PETANK”  

“Petanque” is a ball game that originated in France in the early 20th century but originally came from an Old Provencal game whose roots are in the 8th-9th centuries. Italians, practice this game with very small differences from the French and the Romans. The ancient Romans introduced the game of boredom (marbles) to the countries we call today France, Germany and England. The goal of the game, which is known worldwide in its French version, is to throw or roll the ball near the target ball. It turns out that despite the name of the game, it is a successful entertaining initiative in which it is possible to involve all categories of disability.
